First, Dr. Mejia numbs the area so you stay comfortable. The decayed part of the tooth is gently removed and the space is cleaned. Then the composite is placed in thin layers, hardened with a curing light, and shaped to fit your bite. A final polish leaves the tooth smooth and natural looking.
