Dr. Mejia prepares the tooth and takes a digital scan instead of messy impressions. Your crown is designed on screen to match your bite and nearby teeth. While you relax, it's milled in our office from a solid block of tooth colored ceramic. Then Dr. Mejia checks the fit and bonds it in place.
You skip the second appointment, the temporary crown, and the two week wait. You leave with a finished, natural looking crown that's ready to use. It's especially helpful if your schedule is busy or you'd rather get treatment done in one trip.
